Sofia is a student at Portland State University majoring in biology. She hopes to continue on to graduate school in order to pursue her dream of becoming an Optometrist.
Background
She started working at Sunnyside Vision Source the summer of 2016 and has gained a lot insight about the optometric field. She feels optimistic about what is in store for her in the future. Sofia was born in Guatemala, and moved to the United States when she was four. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and playing board games.
